In mid-November, 2011, Hockey Le Magazine published a special issue entitled: Les 100 plus grands joueurs québécois dans l'histoire de la Ligue nationale. The publication, overseen by journalist Raphaël Doucet, doesn't only capture the magnitude of these hockey stars’ feats in terms of numbers, but also the intangibles that enabled them to make such a huge contribution to their respective teams during their illustrious careers. Where do the likes of Lemieux, Bourque, Lafleur, Richard, Bossy, Béliveau and other Québec-born players rank on the top-100 list? To gain some insight, Ovation médias called on a team of seasoned hockey observers: Ron Fournier, Bertrand Raymond, Dany Dubé, Pierre Houde, François Gagnon, Marc de Foy, Pierre Ladouceur, Maurice Dumas, Denis Morel and Daniel Caza.
