    Hockey Le Magazine
In the heart of the intrigue

Hockey Le Magazine is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year. Published eight times a year, it is the only specialized monthly devoted to hockey to be produced in French in Quebec. Sold in newsstands and mailed to subscribers, this publication taps into the knowledge of such seasoned hockey experts as Dany Dubé, Pierre Houde, Daniel Caza, Michel Lacroix, Martin McGuire, Michel Langevin, Steve Turcotte, François Gagnon and Raphaël Doucet. With such a collection of connoisseurs, the Hockey Le Magazine reader will be better served than ever in terms of inside information, analyses, commentaries and news on the sport they love.

    Top 100 des joueurs québécois

In mid-November, 2011, Hockey Le Magazine published a special issue entitled: Les 100 plus grands joueurs québécois dans l'histoire de la Ligue nationale. The publication, overseen by journalist Raphaël Doucet, doesn't only capture the magnitude of these hockey stars’ feats in terms of numbers, but also the intangibles that enabled them to make such a huge contribution to their respective teams during their illustrious careers. Where do the likes of Lemieux, Bourque, Lafleur, Richard, Bossy, Béliveau and other Québec-born players rank on the top-100 list? To gain some insight, Ovation médias called on a team of seasoned hockey observers: Ron Fournier, Bertrand Raymond, Dany Dubé, Pierre Houde, François Gagnon, Marc de Foy, Pierre Ladouceur, Maurice Dumas, Denis Morel and Daniel Caza. Each of these hockey experts compiled an individual list of the all-time top-100 Québec players, and from these 10 rankings, Hockey Le Magazine established its own list in the 196-page publication ($9.95). On newsstands just before the holiday season, this special, exclusive-content magazine is destined to be a big hit!

    Super Pool TopNet Honda
    Play the GM!

The Super Pool TopNet Honda is a long-term pool. It’s perfect for hockey fans who like to play the role of an NHL-team general manager, because this is one pool that allows you to operate a fictitious team just like an actual NHL squad, faced with limitations such as the salary cap and roster size. Here’s how to play: with a team salary cap of $59.4 million you have to build a roster of 20 players composed of eight forwards, four centres, six defencemen and two goaltenders. But the job doesn’t end there. Then you have to make tough decisions season-long, because you’re allowed five trades per month.

    La Zone des Poolers web
    The place for fantasy poolers

This is one pool that really excites fantasy pool aficionados. Every day, thousands of La Zone des Poolers fans pick three forwards, two defencemen, a goaltender and a team. The pool player receives a weekly and season-long cumulative score based on the results of his or her selections. There are many great prizes.
